Feature request: Recovering a deleted entry in the Tracklist

I have accidentally deleted an entry in the tracklist. I had the current active track highlighted and tapped delete it, but it deleted the previous track that was not highlighted.

Is it possible to recover this?

Unfortunately it is not possible to recover a track once deleted from the tracklist, so we apologize for your lost data.

However, I'd like to take this opportunity to elaborate on what you've reported, in order to fix a possible bug, because the active track shouldn't be deletable. In fact you can select the active track in the tracklist, but if it's selected (alone or with others), deletion shouldn't be possible (the trash icon isn't visible).

Did you face a different behaviour than the one I described?

No, it must be my mistake. I have just tried to replicate the issue, and you're right, the trash icon does not appear if the active track is selected, even if other tracks are also selected. It is annoying though, that the app doesn't allow deleted tracks to be recovered. The track I walked yesterday was a long one, and it was a long drive to get there in the first place.

Ok, thanks for your feedback.
Anyway, adding a restore feature for deleted tracks sounds like a great idea to prevent accidental losses.
If you're okay with it, we can keep this issue open as a feature request to track potential implementation in the future.
It would be a space for collecting ideas and UI mockups.

Sure, happy for you to do that.
May I suggest that deleting a saved track automatically exports it to a folder on the phone so that it can be recovered from there if it was unintentionally deleted.
