Because the solver is limited (see #40), there are many levels left without an optimal solution. After getting sidetracked for a few weeks again (and breaking old records), I would like to know if there is still room for improvement.

I think it could be okay to discuss "manual" solutions for a while and then just add them as a minimum. I don't think the solver will get much better in the near future. However, to be added in the app, we also need to collect the actual steps needed, not just the number of them. This prevents the emails I occasionally get about "it is not possible to solve this level"

Wow, you are good at this game :D In 39: 48 I thought that my 50 was the minimum, given that it is so symmetrical, but you got 48. There is not a single level where I have fewer steps than you. I didn't optimize for the number of steps yet, but sometimes your numbers are super low :D

I'm not sure... discussing solutions would require spoiler alerts all over the place to prevent reading (and memorizing) a solution by accident.

Having an inofficial list with feedback from other humans (who also have that perfectionism/addiction problem like me) is fine for now. Also I have a public backup of the highscores now - in case of losing my phone.

So from my side, there is no work to do. I'm just hoping for a mail notification in a few months or years, when someone posts a lower number.

There is not a single level where I have fewer steps than you.
