What happened, and what did you expect?
I prefer working without auto-switch. I'm typing blindly and always watch on screen so I see wrong locale almost immediately and can correct while printing the first word. Also auto-switch always has false positives. So I prefer turning it off and using only manual switch. But in current version it seems that turning off auto-switch also turns off manual switch as well. At least, manual switch sometimes (not always) works after auto-switch and I wasn't able to see it working if auto-switch was off.
