incorrect display of changed formula after clicking on "submit"

Reproduce (Debian 9)
Step 1: Change xdot expression

Step 2: Click submit

a new Tab occurs ("System 2") but the displayed formula changes back to the old one (of "System 1")
After switching the tabs back and forth the correct expression is displayed.
