In this package, I didn't find where the code represented web communication in HTTP mode.

The dsBaseClient package uses the methods DSI::datashield.aggregate(...) and DSI::datashield.assign(...) to initiate the execution of methods in the dsBase package. You will find the use of "https" (via httr package).

The aggregation method of the methods DSI::datashield.aggregate(...) is a simple weighted average, and does it provide other methods?

For example, in dsBaseClient's ds.log.R line 93 is an example of invoking a "log" operation on the server, creating a new variable on the server.

Thanks for your reply. I see what you mean. The DataShield is communicated using the DSI package. The communication mode of DSI is https.

More specifically, the HTTPS request goes from the Datashield R client to the Opal server that filters, transforms and forwards the request to the R server (still using HTTPS) to be executed by the Datashield server side R packages.
