"Unexpected Token" errors importing PowerShellNotebook (version 2.9.3)

I was installing PowerShellNotebook from PSGallery without MinVersion/MaxVersion and recieved version 2.9.3

When I tried to import the module I recieved the following:

This was with Windows PowerShell 5.1

I've reverted to version 2.9.1 and was able to import PowerShellNotebook successfully.

I think this issue, and this url https://github.com/dfinke/PowerShellNotebook/blob/master/MarkdownExamples/multiplePSLines.ipynb not working are BOM related. If I striped out the 1byte or 3bytes for the other, then the file converts to json. I tried a few combinations, with and without writing files before reading it.

I'm not real familiar with BOM's, but I thought something might be off, because github wasn't rendering it.

Testing

I'm using Pwsh. Maybe this file wasn't encoded as ascii/utf8? The first byte is 0xff, which causes the json to fail. Strip it out, and it works correctly.

I forget which file, another which broke seemed to have a EF BB BF (utf8 BOM), in a utf16 encoded file?
