i am spending waste time using .net maui, update every time. this failure product, alfa product. We are just doing some tests to check for any flaws in the product.

I know; I’ve followed it since the beta version, but today I’m giving up. I didn't expect it to be this extreme—updates are coming out constantly, day and night. Consequently, every time there’s an update, we have to check our entire project for bugs from scratch. It’s absolute madness; the larger the project, the more time and money we waste on bug checking. For instance, if we’ve built 100 modules, a single MAUI update forces us to re-check all of them for issues—UI glitches, controls failing to work, and so on. It just eats up your life. This MAUI project might not even be finished in another 25 years—especially given the ambitious concept of cross-platform compatibility. Then there’s the issue of ensuring it runs on Huawei devices once their user base grows—that brings a whole new set of problems. Throw in devices with varying screen sizes, and the issues become endless. Ultimately, .NET MAUI will just end up being a hobby project—like ReactOS—stuck in alpha forever.

@tjiakwokyung28 true. Step by step MAUI is getting better. Check also their AI effort which should make the MAUI more stable in the future. Also check Linux support and Improve Extensibility 3rd Party Platform Backends.

If you set the Maui version in csproj file like this, you will not have a new version to update every day

No one forces you to update the version (probably the bugs...), you can keep a fixed version for months and update when you prefer
