I've been running the bash script version of this quite happily for some time now and thought I'd try out the Python version. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. I'm launching it in a terminal (but also tried from kde autostart). When I have Spotify playing and I lock my screen it doesn't pause it. No output in the terminal. Even with debug there is only one line output at startup:
2022-10-12 09:24:36,256 - INFO: Running with debug output enabled
Python is 3.10
dbus-next==0.2.3
Any pointers?
