ping the backend, generate a new domain name, and pass it to the daemon once it resolves to the machine

check that the daemon IP is not on cloudflare? ie dont point to machine's IP if it doesn't look like ... it will work?

the backend assumes you are logged in - but the CLI doesn't have that.......... so maybe no?
