Root Scaling (Whole Model/Proportional scaling) doesn't appear to work for NPCs anymore on Version 2.0.7.27+ (Updated Post with Images 9/9/2026 showing it works for PCs but not NPCs still on version 2.2.1.1)

Issue is the title, Editing Root values for Overall scaling doesn't appear to work anymore on any NPCs

Scaling using individual bones still works but Root changes do not

I have tested this on multiple random NPCs in various different zones

Root Scaling still does not work on any NPCs, Tested on Custom delivery NPCs (Used to work Prior to 2.0.7.2) , the Scions in Solution Nine (Same as CD NPCs), and various other random NPCs around the world (Same as CD NPCs)

I know the Update notes did not mention Root Scaling, only Root Position, so I'm sure a fix wasn't attempted/intended in this update, I'm just bringing up that it didn't magically resolve with the Position fix

This is not a complaint, just making a statement that that Root position adjustments did not inadvertently fix Scaling so it is still an issue in the newest version

As of Version 2.0.9.1 Root Scaling still does not work for NPCs, Only Root Position works

Did anyone ever figure out a fix to this? It's been over a year and Root Scaling to change size of NPCs still doesn't work

Before Aug 18 2025 you could go up to any NPC, set Customizer+ to them with root scaling enabled and you could change the size of them by adjusting the Scale on Root - Root while setting up a template, but now you can no longer do so, it does not matter what NPC you try it on, Root scaling does not work on any of them.

Root Scaling Currently only works on Player Characters, it does not work on NPCs

I slid the root scale all the way to 4 on the NPC to show that no matter how far you go it does not change the scale of NPCs, a scale of 4 on a player character works just fine but is absolutely massive, so for the point of this example a screenshot at 4x was not taken because you can already clearly see root scaling works on Player Characters at 1.6

As you can see in the screenshots, Root Scaling for NPCs still does not work as of Current Version 2.2.1.1, nevertheless, I appreciate the work everyone does to make this mod work and I hope that this issue can be solved
