I turn design systems, accessibility requirements, and the occasional bit of trigonometry into shipping products. Lately that means product configurators (web apps where you drag a slider and a shower cabin, a terrace roof, or a CNC-ready DXF file changes accordingly) and AI chatbots. Product work is where my heart is, but I never say no to a good marketing site: hand-rolled CSS animations deserve an audience too. Tools of the trade: frontend at large, TypeScript, and CSS. Frameworks come and go (Vue today, React before that, web components when nobody is watching); the platform stays.

• Accessibility. androidA11y is my toolkit for auditing Android apps, because a11y does not stop at the browser.
• Type-safe functional TypeScript. I work daily with Effect and build on effect-app/libs. I will not claim I fully understand every type signature, but we have reached a mutual respect.
• AI in real products. Lately I spend a good part of my time wiring LLMs into user-facing features (structured extraction, price intelligence, conversational configurators) and pushing agentic coding workflows further than is probably reasonable.
• CSS as a real language. super-gigi was my flex-box grid generator back when that was a brave thing to say.
• Talking about all of the above. Slides in Talks, built with my own makh-e-slides.

• forfettino: tax math for Italian freelancers, because someone had to.
• piccologuaioaportaromana.com and oopswediditagain.com: one website per kid. Also an excuse to try Next.js in 2020 and Astro with web components in 2024. Best shipped products so far, the kids I mean.
