QuakeSystem

Forward and inverse modelling of earthquake systems (faults, plates and mantle; before, during, and after earthquakes) as funded by Ylona van Dinther's ERC Consolidator Grant "RESET" and NWO VIDI "ImaginEqSys".

Our method developments built forth on the developments of multi-physics geodynamic solvers for extreme scale geophysics simulations on GPU, as funded in the GPU4GEO and dGPU4GEO projects (see https://gpu4geo.org/). Particularly, we build on JustRelax.jl, which features pseudo-transient accelerated iterative solvers for geodynamic models. JustRelax.jl is developed by e.g. Ludovic Räss, Albert de Montesserat, and Pascal Aellig. Within GPU4GEO we also rely on JuliaGeodynamics developments, such as GeoParams.jl and GeophysicalModelGenerator.jl, as developed by e.g., Boris Kaus and Albert de Montesserat. GPU4GEO is funded by the Swiss Platform for Advanced Super Computing PASC and National Super Computing Center.
