When edge_app_id is provided, it's exported as EDGE_APP_ID and takes precedence over any id in screenly.yml/screenly_qc.yml; a single screenly.yml is used instead of branching between screenly.yml/screenly_qc.yml by environment. When omitted, behavior is unchanged: the manifest file is selected by environment as before, and no id is required to come from an env var. Requires screenly/cli v26.9.0 or later; see the v26.9.0 release notes for details.
