ARIS, the Akademische Raumfahrt Initiative Schweiz, is a large student association based in Zurich. We bring together students from universities across Switzerland who share a fascination for engineering and space exploration.
Our projects span three main fields:
- Rocketry: sounding rockets and propulsion systems
- Satellites: CubeSats and platforms for scientific research in space
- Robotics: underwater vehicles for exploration and research
This GitHub organization contains software, firmware, PCBs, simulations, tools, and infrastructure developed by current and former ARIS teams.
ARIS gives students the opportunity to turn theory into real systems while working in interdisciplinary teams on ambitious engineering projects. We are always looking for motivated new members from both technical and non-technical backgrounds!
