What changed

Adds a concrete public-release roadmap covering usability commands, documentation-site structure, discoverability, package-index targets, release automation, security boundaries, and measurable success criteria.

Why

OpenNet is the strongest of the five projects, but it still needs physical interoperability evidence, global capacity controls, clearer application-level receipt guidance, and a complete public distribution path before broader promotion.

User and developer impact

This document turns broad goals such as “easy to use” and “discoverable” into an implementation checklist for CLI onboarding, diagnostics, docs, PyPI, Arduino distribution, GitHub Releases, and versioned documentation.

Validation

Documentation-only change based on the current v0.2.0 architecture, CI, packaging metadata, and open hardware-test requirements.

Closing stale draft readiness PR leftover from earlier agent work. Current releases and main already supersede this draft.
