Description

@cosmic-flood

Problem and intended outcome

Operators with an existing MongoDB-backed FeatBit installation need a documented way to move their data to PostgreSQL. Track the proposed migration utility, its verification steps, and the operational guidance for that transition.

Scope

Follow the one-way MongoDB-to-PostgreSQL migration work in the public source PR, including preflight checks, data copying, verification, and cutover documentation. Supported source and target versions will be recorded with the delivered tool.

Implementation

Use the Project's Status field for current progress. The source PR was open when this tracking item was created on 2026-09-15.

Completion checklist

  • The utility is reviewed and merged.
  • Supported versions, verification steps, and cutover procedures are documented.
  • Migration validation is recorded in the implementation work.
  • A published release or availability announcement is linked below.

Release evidence

To be added when this work is available in a release.
