bmehta001 I'm not sure I believe something is off either in your dependabot configuration or in the repository settings.
In the dependencies section you should have access to the dependabot logs to help you troubleshoot what's wrong. (might require JIT)

I was updating other repositories and noticed yours came up as part of my search, so I thought I'd send a pull request your way as well.

Vincent Biret (@baywet) Thanks! You are right, Dependabot did attempt to update the workflow, and the logs indicate it had an issue with cloning the private submodules. I think giving Dependabot access to those submodules should fix the issue in the future.
