Requesting PID
1209:4D49for the MIDIMaster Virtual Microphone.mitchell-software-solutions)4D49("MI" in ASCII)MIDIMaster is an open-source Windows MIDI control application. Its Virtual Audio component presents a software-defined USB Audio Class 1 microphone through a localhost-only USB/IP service, allowing a physical microphone and soundboard clips to be mixed into conferencing, streaming, and recording applications.
This is intentionally a software-only USB device: the complete USB descriptors, USB/IP implementation, Windows service, and setup helper are available in the linked repository. A stable unique PID is needed because MIDIMaster distributes this virtual USB device to end users, where reusing a development or test identity could collide with unrelated USB or USB/IP devices and affect driver association.
This is the project's first pid.codes request. The repository contains its MIT
LICENSE, andpython test/validate_pids.pypasses with this allocation.
