Updates @cloudflare/vitest-pool-workers from 0.20.1 to 0.22.0

Changelog

Sourced from @cloudflare/vitest-pool-workers's changelog.

0.22.0

Minor Changes

  • #13830 49d4e00 Thanks @penalosa! - Mocking requests with MSW in Worker tests now requires MSW >= 2.14

    @cloudflare/vitest-pool-workers previously shipped internal shims to make MSW work inside the workerd runtime. MSW 2.14 added that support natively, so those shims have been removed.

    If you mock requests with MSW in your Worker tests, make sure you're on MSW >= 2.14; older versions will no longer intercept requests. You can keep using setupServer() from msw/node, or adopt the official @msw/cloudflare integration via setupNetwork(). See the updated request-mocking example fixture for the recommended pattern.

Patch Changes

  • #15211 bc5726b Thanks @nithin42! - Honor access.dev when running Workers with @cloudflare/vitest-pool-workers, so ctx.access.getIdentity() returns the configured identity just as it does with wrangler dev.

  • #15156 3ddd3ce Thanks @dario-piotrowicz! - Fix module resolution for relative require() inside CJS deps when the project path contains spaces

    When a project lives under a directory with a space in its name, externalized CommonJS dependencies that use relative require() calls (e.g. require("./lib/impl.js")) would fail with "No such module" because workerd preserves URL encoding in the module name. Encoded module paths are now handled deterministically before CommonJS resolution without altering literal percent sequences.

  • #15150 2cf3143 Thanks @kkkhs! - Restore typed inject() keys in cloudflareTest() pool options

    inject() inside cloudflareTest() options again infers the value type from the keys you declare in your Vitest ProvidedContext, and reports misspelled keys. For keys that are only provided at runtime, pass an explicit type argument, e.g. inject<number>("myPort").

  • #15232 8777180 Thanks @vicb! - Bump capnp-es to 0.0.16.

  • #15185 1f79ace Thanks @jamesopstad! - Use a fixed default compatibility date rather than the current date

    When no compatibility date was set, Wrangler, C3 and the Vitest pool all defaulted to the current date. workerd only accepts a compatibility date up to 7 days beyond its own release, so whenever a workerd release was delayed the default could get ahead of the runtime that had been installed, and local development would fail to start.

    The default is now fixed at the release date of the workerd version that ships with each release, which leaves a week of headroom and updates as workerd is upgraded. @cloudflare/vite-plugin previously inlined the date at which it was built. It now shares the same default.

Patch Changes

  • #15123 d0c976c Thanks @dependabot! - Widen WorkerPoolOptionsContext.inject type to avoid ProvidedContext mismatch

    Previously, calling inject() inside cloudflareTest() pool options could fail with a type error when your project's ProvidedContext augmentation wasn't visible to the pool plugin. The inject parameter now accepts any string key and is generic (inject<T>(key)), defaulting to unknown when no type argument is provided. This lets you opt in to concrete types (e.g. inject<number>("port")) while avoiding the cross-copy ProvidedContext mismatch that occurred when pnpm resolved separate virtual-store instances of vitest.

Updates lint-staged from 17.3.0 to 17.5.0

Release notes

Sourced from lint-staged's releases.

v17.5.0

Minor Changes

  • #1847 f9063b7 - Lint-staged now refuses to run when files were staged with --intent-to-add, because Git stash doesn't support them. Previously this was an unhandled error.

Patch Changes

  • #1848 d718ccc - Lint-staged now handles color support better in non-TTY streams, and honors the FORCE_COLOR environment variable.

  • #1845 7e5ece8 - Update tinyexec@1.3.1 so that local binaries from node_modules/.bin are resolved starting from the directory of each lint-staged configuration file (in monorepo setups). This behavior was broken in lint-staged@16.3.0 where they were only resolved from the current working directory and up.

  • #1845 eb8a4e3 - Do not try to restore untracked files when using --hide-all and there is no initial commit yet.

v17.4.1

17.4.1

Patch Changes

  • #1840 efe5b63 - This is a version-bump-only release because the previous version 17.4.0 was not published to npmjs.com due to problems with GitHub Actions and Changesets.

17.4.0

Minor Changes

  • #1836 90ec282 - Added a new defineConfig helper for type-checking the lint-staged configuration:

    // lint-staged.config.ts
    import { defineConfig } from 'lint-staged/config'
    export default defineConfig({
    '*.js': ['prettier --check', 'eslint'],
    })

  • #1832 510a27c - Added a new flag --all to make lint-staged include all files tracked by Git, instead of only staged.

    By default lint-staged only runs tasks on files that include staged changes (hence the name). Use this flag to include all files tracked in Git version control (standard exclusions apply). Using this flag implies the --no-stash flag, disabling the automatic backup, and the --allow-empty flag so that lint-staged doesn't fail when there are no changes after running. This makes it easier to run npx lint-staged --all on a clean state, for example in CI.

Patch Changes

  • #1838 69bec99 - The behavior of the automatic backup stash has been improved when running lint-staged in multiple worktrees in parallel. You should still avoid running multiple instances of lint-staged in parallel in the same tree, because some of the Git operations are locking and might lead to data loss.

  • #1839 5e5bdd2 - Parsing of lint-staged CLI flags and Node.js API options has been rewritten to avoid inconsistent behavior between the two.

Changelog

Sourced from lint-staged's changelog.

17.5.0

Updates wrangler from 4.118.0 to 4.129.0

Release notes

Sourced from wrangler's releases.

wrangler@4.129.0

Minor Changes

  • #15460 93d72a5 Thanks @QnJ1c2kNCg! - Support gzip compression for JSON Pipelines sinks

    Pipelines is in open beta. wrangler pipelines sinks create and the interactive setup flow now pass the selected JSON compression to the Pipelines API. JSON sinks accept uncompressed or gzip, while Parquet retains its existing compression options and zstd default.

  • #15358 d2d8eea Thanks @pombosilva! - Add a --json flag to the wrangler workflows commands

    Every wrangler workflows command now accepts --json, which emits the raw API payload instead of the human-readable rendering. The formatted output remains the default, so existing usage is unaffected:

    wrangler workflows instances list my-workflow --json

    The JSON output carries raw values rather than a serialisation of the formatted view: ISO timestamps instead of locale-formatted dates, plain status strings instead of emojified labels, and no presentation-only derived fields.

Patch Changes

  • #15469 d40a634 Thanks @dependabot! - Update dependencies of "miniflare", "wrangler"

    The following dependency versions have been updated:

    Dependency From To
    @cloudflare/workers-types ^5.20260831.1 ^5.20260902.1
    workerd 1.20260831.1 1.20260902.1
  • #15481 7c1b2a6 Thanks @dependabot! - Update dependencies of "miniflare", "wrangler"

    The following dependency versions have been updated:

    Dependency From To
    @cloudflare/workers-types ^5.20260902.1 ^5.20260903.1
    workerd 1.20260902.1 1.20260903.1
  • #15472 f6fb347 Thanks @emily-shen! - Tolerate missing permissions during wrangler delete cleanup checks

    wrangler delete now warns and continues when it cannot inspect Worker dependencies or clean up legacy Workers Sites KV namespaces because of missing permissions. The Worker delete request itself still fails normally if the token cannot delete the Worker.

  • #15472 f6fb347 Thanks @emily-shen! - Tolerate missing resource permissions during resource provisioning

    When Wrangler cannot check whether a bound resource exists because the API returns a 403, it now skips automatic provisioning for that resource type and continues the deploy. The deploy may still fail later if the resource is missing.

  • #15476 dc24057 Thanks @christhorwarth! - Fix remote development with static assets for API tokens using granular Worker permissions

    Wrangler now creates Workers.dev preview sessions through the Worker-scoped endpoint and derives the preview hostname from the session response. This avoids requiring account-level Workers subdomain access.
